Petzl Reverso Belay Device

The ultralight, versatile Reverso belay and rappel device is designed for sport climbing, multi-pitch climbing, and mountaineering. The Reverso mode allows for belaying one or two second climbers. It is suitable for most rope diameters: single ropes from 8.5 to 10.5 mm, half ropes from 7.1 to 9.2 mm, and twin ropes from 6.9 to 9.2 mm. The special design of the rope guide facilitates the passage of the rope through the device while simultaneously protecting it from wear. Brake friction control is achieved through the V-shaped, notched brake grooves. The device features a robust construction and lightweight design. The installation on the rope is illustrated on the belay device (on both the inside and outside). The lifespan is extended by the rounded design of the rope guide, which limits wear on the device.
