Petzl Meteor

The lightweight, compact Meteor helmet designed for climbing, mountaineering, and ski touring features excellent ventilation and provides good comfort in both summer and winter. Its head-enveloping design ensures increased protection across the entire head area. The Meteor is the first CE-certified ski touring helmet. Thoughtfully designed down to the last detail, it pairs perfectly with ski goggles or a visor and is ideal for ski mountaineering.

Lightweight, compact, and ventilated helmet: only 240 g, In-Mold construction with an inner shell made of EPS foam, which is injected under a thin outer shell made of polycarbonate, ensuring a snug fit on the head. Large ventilation openings provide maximum air circulation, high-quality workmanship, and a simple design.

Increased protection: designed according to the Petzl label Top and Side Protection, the head-enveloping design offers optimal impact protection on the sides as well as at the front and back of the head.

Suitable for ski mountaineering: the first CE-certified ski touring helmet. Optimal ventilation during ascents and descents. The helmet can be comfortably worn from the beginning to the end of the tour. The special design at the front is intended for wearing ski goggles. The rubber band at the back is compatible with the straps of ski goggles. The semi-rigid headband can also be easily adjusted with gloves. Two headlamp clips at the front and a rubber band at the back for attaching a headlamp. Compatible with the Vizion and Skreen visors.

Note: The helmet does not meet the requirements of the helmet standard EN 1077 for alpine skiers.
