The clipless Vibram sole Fort Augustus has been designed to enhance traction and braking with unparalleled grip on both wet and dry surfaces. It features an EVA midsole for reduced weight and improved shock absorption. The thermally welded layer construction provides maximum protection with less thickness and weight. The small TPU insert makes the shoes highly abrasion-resistant and protects against repeated impacts. The dual closure system with Velcro and our SLW3 allows for controlled pressure on the instep, preventing unnecessary pressure points and overheating while riding. This combination works perfectly across the entire foot: the SLW3 dial secures the shoes from the midfoot to the toes, while the Velcro strap fixes the upper foot. The upper material and tongue are reinforced with ripstop to increase durability and allow the shoes to be worn in all conditions. The tongue is padded with a thin layer to provide maximum comfort even on longer rides. The heel area is designed to conform to your heel to prevent slipping and ensure a precise fit at all times.
