Northwave Magma R Rock

A road cycling shoe designed for winter tours. With 200 g of Primaloft® Gold insulation and ECO-ISO padding made from recycled materials, the shoe guarantees exceptional thermal insulation and breathability. Power is transmitted through the reinforced Jaws Carbon sole with a stiffness index of 8.0 to the drivetrain. The natural rubber heel area provides extreme grip on any surface. The upper shoe features an Overlap construction made from the most innovative materials, evenly enveloping the foot without pressure points and transferring every watt of power precisely to the pedal. The forefoot has been reinforced with TPU. A simple and uniform fit is ensured by the SLW2 dial closure system. Unique in its class, it allows for precise, millimeter-accurate adjustment of the shoe with its micro-step ratchet. The integrated heel seat with directional fiber inner material prevents unwanted heel slip, while the Arctic 4Layer insole (Eva/Aluminum/Eva/Pile) combined with the Lasting Board Thermal Shield (EVA/Aluminum) provides efficient thermal insulation. For added safety in poor visibility conditions, the shoe features 360° reflective inserts.
