This is now the fourth generation of the Ultra Fastpack hiking boots, and they keep getting better. The fourth generation features our special breathable and waterproof FUTURELIGHT material. Thanks to the breathable nanospinning membrane, you benefit from waterproof boots without getting overly warm, sweaty feet. These boots also provide additional comfort. The cushioned OrthoLite X35 hybrid insole absorbs shock while also responding well, enhancing energy return with the FastFoam midsole for more efficient trekking. The Ultra Fastpacks are specifically designed for tough trails: the loops are optimized for undulating, rocky terrain. The Vibram Megagrip does exactly what the name suggests – it provides traction on all surfaces, whether wet and muddy or dry and loose – and the protective toe caps and heel overlays prevent pressure points on the toes and bruising on the ankles.
