Nidecker Rift 2023

The brand new Rift is a more flexible shoe that allows you to express your own style while still being packed with technology. It is 3D-shaped to fit perfectly into our bindings and combines a sneaker look with modern materials, including a unique seamless construction in the toe area. The two BOA laces give you complete control over the fit and flex, with separate dials to tighten the upper and lower sections. The flex is highly adaptable, and thanks to a two-part joint shell, you can apply pressure to one side of the shoe without deforming the other, providing constant support and excellent heel hold. This model is also very lightweight and features a new low-profile BFT Ascent outsole that cushions underfoot and offers good grip on all surfaces. A transition area connects this sole directly to the rubber tread without exposed edges, protecting the back of the shoe and extending its lifespan. Finally, the Rift is equipped with OC-Kush foam and a heat-moldable Silver liner to provide full comfort from day one. It’s a setup designed for park sessions, surfy turns, and creative all-mountain shredding.
