When we developed the Sierra, we aimed to create the lightest snowboard boot we have ever made, without sacrificing the signature ride feel of the modern Nidecker boot line. We are excited to announce that the Sierra is 27% lighter than its predecessor. To reduce weight, everything starts with the outsole. The Sierra features our Gravity sole, made from lightweight, durable EVA. The crampons are shaped similarly to the rest of our outsoles, inspired by our playgrounds in the mountains and designed to provide you with maximum grip. The upper part of the boot can be quickly and precisely tightened with a single Boa H4 dial on the tongue. We have used Boa's TX3 textile laces to further reduce weight, increase durability, and provide a more natural feel when tightening. Inside, our thermoformable Bronze Level Liner with a Single Density Footbed keeps you warm. The 1:1 durability means that we have used a unique shell, liner, and insole for every size and half size. How comfortable is the boot? Like the rest of our range, the Sierra uses an asymmetrical last on the outside, which means the boot fits perfectly against the high backs of our bindings and ensures optimal power transfer. This applies to both landings and groomed trails or powder areas in ski resorts. The Sierra offers excellent value for money, allowing you to experience the technology and feel of a Nidecker boot without having to dig deep into your pockets.
