The Altai-W is the centerpiece of our new women's shoe collection, offering high-end features and freeride-ready support at an unbeatable price. It is constructed around an asymmetrical shell that perfectly adapts to Nidecker and Flow binding straps, eliminating pressure points. The Dual BOA lacing system includes textile-coated laces and two dials, allowing you to control the upper and lower sections independently. Beneath, our lightweight B.F.T Gravity 2.0 sole provides excellent cushioning and grip, with a rubber tip that enhances traction during icy and rocky hikes. We have softened the connection between the sole and the shoe with a shaped section called the Transition Zone, removing the usual hard edge to prevent it from getting caught in the heel cup of your binding. A layer of durable rubber on the toe box protects the boot and adds a touch of style. Inside, we have introduced a new comfortable Silver liner made from the most pleasant materials. It is comfortable right out of the box—with plenty of room for your toes—and heat-moldable for a custom fit. The Altai is a mid-stiff model with plenty of lateral support, making it ideal for carving in the resort or threading lines through the trees. If you love the art of turning, you will love this shoe.
