The Altai is the centerpiece of the new Nidecker boot collection, offering high-end features and freeride support at an unbeatable price. It is constructed around an asymmetrical shell that perfectly adapts to Nidecker and Flow binding straps, eliminating pressure points. The Dual BOA lacing system features textile-coated laces and two dials, allowing you to control the upper and lower sections independently. Beneath, our lightweight B.F.T Gravity 2.0 sole provides excellent cushioning and grip, with a rubber tip to enhance traction on icy and rocky approaches. We have softened the connection between the sole and the boot with a molded section called the Transition Zone, removing the usual hard edge to prevent it from catching in the heel cup of your binding. A durable rubber layer on the toe box protects the boot and adds a touch of style. Inside, there is a new heat-moldable Silver liner that allows you to adjust the fit as needed, yet is comfortable right out of the box. The Altai is a medium-stiff boot with plenty of lateral support, making it ideal for carving trenches on the slopes or gliding with precision through the trees.
