A pair of trousers for almost all alpine sports? Here would be one. The Taiss SO is a universal pant in good medium thickness and robustness that all testers enjoyed wearing.
The Taiss Guide is the softshell pants with the strongest weather protection in our collection, designed for mountaineering and ski touring. The robust, 3-layer fabric with membrane is completely windproof and offers reliable protection even in harsh conditions, thanks to its PFC-free water-repellent finish. After strenuous efforts, you can ventilate through the zippers placed at hip height. With the elastic Velcro fasteners at the waist and the leg hems featuring elastic gussets and zippers, you can optimally adjust the fit of the pants. The lightweight design and many other features, such as the climbing harness-compatible zippered pockets and reinforced leg cuffs for protection against ski edges and crampons, ensure that you enjoy delightful days in the mountains, even when the weather is unpleasant.
