A pair of trousers for almost all alpine sports? Here would be one. The Taiss SO is a universal pant in good medium thickness and robustness that all testers enjoyed wearing.
The Taiss Guide is the softshell pants with the strongest weather protection in our collection, designed for mountaineering and ski touring. The robust, 3-layer fabric with membrane is completely windproof and, thanks to PFC-free water-repellent impregnation, provides reliable protection even in harsh conditions. After strenuous efforts, you can ventilate through the zippers positioned at hip height. With the elastic Velcro closures at the waist and the leg hems featuring elastic gussets and zippers, you can perfectly adjust the fit of the pants. The lightweight design and many other features, such as the climbing harness-compatible zip pockets and reinforced leg cuffs to protect against ski edges and crampons, ensure that you can enjoy delightful days in the mountains with the Taiss Guide, even when the weather is unpleasant.
