Product details

A must-have for alpine, ice, trad, and multi-pitch climbers: The single-strand Alpine Trad Sling offers faster and safer handling than traditional slings. Instead of pulling it over your head and arm, you simply unclip the carabiner and pull it from your upper body. The Alpine Trad Sling uses the same amount of material as a round sling, but instead of being sewn into a closed ring, the single-strand construction has a loop at each end for attaching a carabiner. Intermediate anchors can be quickly and easily shortened from 120 to 60 or 30 cm. The design reduces the risk of unintentional unclipping of carabiners or the rope. Made from 100% ultralight Dyneema material, it offers advantages over regular nylon: higher strength-to-weight ratio, less water absorption, and greater abrasion resistance. Weight: 31 g.
