Product details

Triple-certified high-end rope for sport and alpine climbing at the highest level! With a diameter of 8.7 mm and a weight of only 51 g per meter, the 8.7 Serenity is among the thinnest and lightest single ropes. Thanks to its high sheath proportion, it is also the most durable rope in its class.

Enormous durability is achieved through core and sheath refinement: In abrasion tests, DRY ropes achieve 50% higher abrasion resistance compared to conventionally equipped ropes of the same diameter. The sealing of the core and sheath also prevents dirt absorption and further increases the lifespan.

The combination of Coated Core Technology and Coated Sheath Technology results in long-lasting water and dirt repellency of the DRY ropes. In the UIAA test procedure for water absorption, DRY ropes achieve a value of 1%.
