The Lifeguard is compact, lightweight, and durable. Mad Rocks' newly designed belay device has been hot forged and is made of aluminum and stainless steel. The Lifeguard can be used with single ropes ranging from 8.9 mm to 11 mm for lead climbing as well as in top-rope situations.
