Favorite Hook Fukura Ultra X Black Treble. The treble sizes decrease with larger numbers, so size 1 is the largest and size 8 is the smallest treble. The tip is the special feature of these trebles, as it has a curved needle point. In practice, this means that the trebles are extremely sharp, and the slightly angled tip allows for better hook penetration. This is known as the self-hooking effect.
