The Tarantula from La Sportiva is ideal for beginners in indoor climbing, for warming up, for multi-pitch routes, or for relaxed pleasure climbing outdoors. With its low tension on a nearly straight last, it offers the foot the necessary freedom while still providing power and control at the toe with the 4 mm FriXion®-BLACK sole. La Sportiva also equips the climbing shoe with a stabilizing midsole that optimizes power transfer. The upper material made of suede is adaptable and helps prevent odor formation. The opposing Velcro straps with a variable plush area allow you to adjust the Tarantula to your desired fit. Whether the Tarantula lets you ascend vertically with spider-like weightlessness, we would love to hear your feedback.
