The fabric used for the classic rug is a polyester microfiber that feels soft and cotton-like. The microfiber feels like a peach, making it very soft, yet it stays in place under other rugs without rubbing. The fiber filling provides a good insulating layer, as it retains body heat while remaining breathable. This creates a warmth cocoon around the horse without making it feel damp.

The Under Rug Classic is machine washable at 30 degrees. We recommend washing the rug once a month. The best results are achieved by drying the rug at a low temperature with tennis balls to maintain the pockets.
