Jagwire shift cable outer casings are the top choice for many major bicycle manufacturers worldwide. They rely on the proven Jagwire combination of premium quality, reliable durability, and outstanding performance. The outer casings made from lead-free PVC meet all international standards regarding material composition and chemical makeup.

In addition to a wide selection of colors, Jagwire shift cable outer casings are available in two different quality levels.

LEX: The standard quality LEX consists of a two-part sheath for maximum durability, linear strands of steel, and a liner (unlubricated).

LEX-SL: In addition to the features of the LEX outer casings, the LEX-SL is equipped with a Slick-Lube liner. Slick-Lube is a lubricant that is integrated into the liner along the entire length of the outer casing, significantly reducing the friction of the inner cable.

For even better and longer-lasting performance, Jagwire recommends using Hooded End Caps in areas with heavy contamination.
