They are made with organic cotton and all-natural vegetable dyes derived from herbs such as indigo, cumin, and turmeric. The herbal dyes are specially made in small batches to extract the most color and benefits from the herbs.

Jade's Mysore rugs are handwoven by rural artisans in India, preserving a tradition and art form while providing a livelihood for weavers. Weaving is a traditional way of life for many people in this region, which has experienced a significant decline in recent years due to increasing industrialization. These rugs support traditional weavers and enable them to use their skills to support their families and keep this tradition alive.

These rugs are lightweight at only 2.5 lbs (1.135 kg), making them easy to take to your favorite outdoor spots in the park or on the beach. They are also machine washable, making them easy to clean and care for.

Did you know? Jade's organic cotton Mysore yoga rugs can be used outdoors (unlike our natural rubber mats). When using on hard surfaces such as hardwood, laminate, and tile floors, please place them on top of your Jade mat (natural rubber mats) or another non-slip underlay to prevent slipping.

Care Instructions: Machine or hand wash with cold water (please note that rugs may shrink slightly in the wash). Wash colors separately. Hang to air dry (will shrink if put in a dryer).
