At 5 mm, the Harmony has very good cushioning and is perfect for practising at home or in the yoga studio. The Harmony is also particularly sustainable: it is made from natural rubber, which is 100% biodegradable. The manufacturer JadeYoga also promises to plant a tree for every mat sold - that is now over 2 million trees. Jade yoga mats have a natural rubber odour that dissipates over time. Jade yoga mats are not suitable for people with latex allergies. First impression: The surface of the mat changes with use and proper care. So if your new mat doesn't feel one hundred per cent non-slip at first, don't worry: the final grip will develop after a short familiarisation period. General information: Jade yoga mats are made from biodegradable natural rubber. This property brings with it natural wear and tear over the course of use. The lifespan of the Harmony depends on how intensively the mat is used and how it is cared for. Wear marks caused by use are normal after some time, as the roughened surface is literally "sanded" by abrasive movements (e.g. of the heels) - an effect similar to sandpaper. As abrasion marks are an effect caused by external mechanical impact, the manufacturer's guarantee does not apply here.
