The DAC aluminum frame is designed to make the tent extremely wind-resistant. Optimal ventilation is provided by two openings in the roof area, the two doors, and four large, coverable mesh areas in the inner tent. The silicone coating makes the tent waterproof. The outer tent material is coated with silicone on both sides, significantly reducing weight while increasing tear resistance and UV stability. Since conventional seam tape sealing does not adhere to silicone-coated materials, a special swelling yarn is used, which expands when wet and seals the seams. However, it is advisable to additionally treat relevant seam areas with a silicone seam sealer.
