The Klarsby Low Bunion Lady GTX is a lightweight shoe designed by Hanwag specifically for women with Hallux Valgus (a condition where the big toe is misaligned). The bunion last provides more space for the metatarsophalangeal joint of the big toe and for the toes in general, as the misaligned big toe often shifts the other toes as well. To give the toes more vertical space, the toe box of the Klarsby Low Bunion is padded, elevated, and slightly wider. Additionally, the entire forefoot area, including the rock guard, is seam-free, protecting the sensitive metatarsophalangeal joint from pressure and chafing pain. In terms of features, this hiking shoe made of synthetic materials and leather is impressive.
