A polyurethane foam wedge, approximately 1.5 millimeters thick, in the midsole ensures a smoother rolling motion, noticeably better cushioning, and increases comfort during long walks. The Banks is ideal for demanding hikes in the low mountain ranges, in the foothills of the Alps, and on easy mountain hut trails without heavy luggage. The GORE-TEX lining keeps the feet reliably dry.
