A approximately 1.5 millimeter thick polyurethane foam wedge in the midsole ensures a smoother rolling motion, noticeably better cushioning, and increased comfort during long walks. The Banks is designed for demanding hikes from the low mountain ranges to the foothills of the Alps and light hut trails without heavy luggage. The GORE-TEX lining keeps the feet reliably dry.
