The Merit Spherical is a high-performance helmet designed for trail riding, equipped with the MIPS Spherical technology safety system. The outer EPS shell rotates a few millimeters around the inner shell in the event of an impact, minimizing the rotational forces generated by the collision. A deeper protective zone and excellent ventilation elevate the Merit to the highest level. The progressive inner and outer shells with varying EPS foam densities also contribute to comprehensive protection. Wind tunnel openings combined with deep air channels in the EPS shell ensure remarkable airflow, keeping heat away even during long, strenuous rides. A secure fit can be quickly and easily adjusted using the Roc Loc Trail Air adjustment system. The soft Ionic+ padding offers exceptional sweat absorption and has antimicrobial properties. With all these features, it is the ideal choice for the demanding mountain biker, whether with or without electric assistance. MIPS Spherical is the evolution of the Multi-Directional Impact Protection System. Made in the typical Giro design, the two layers of EPP foam in different hardness levels act like a joint that can move a few millimeters in any direction, effectively reducing rotational energy at certain impact angles.
