With the Surf Convertible (SFC), Gath, the inventor of surf helmets, has introduced another milestone in helmet development after extensive testing in the powerful Australian waves. The Surf Convertible is characterized by its lightweight design and an absolutely perfect fit. With removable ear protectors and an optionally available adjustable visor for high UV protection for the eyes, the Surf Convertible can be perfectly tuned to meet any requirement. The Gath designers placed particular emphasis on minimizing water resistance to prevent neck injuries during wipeouts. Due to its low weight, you hardly notice that you are wearing a helmet. The Surf Convertible helmet provides excellent head protection not only for surfing but also for kitesurfing, kayaking, wing foiling, and windsurfing. Like all Gath helmets, the SFC absorbs very little water and dries extremely quickly. All components are completely corrosion-resistant.

The provided size chart is only a guideline, as head shapes can vary. Please note that measurements should be taken around the head at the middle of the forehead, directly above the ears:
S = 530 - 540 mm, fitted strip = 7.5 mm, additional strip = 9 mm
M = 550 - 560 mm, fitted strip = 4.5 mm, additional strip = 6 mm
L = 570 - 580 mm, fitted strip = 7.5 mm, additional strip = 9 mm
XL = 590 - 600 mm, fitted strip = 4.5 mm, additional strip = 6 mm
