The result is excellent air circulation, which proves beneficial not only in changeable Scandinavian weather but also in warm climates. Suitable for year-round use in most conditions, except for truly extreme weather, this model is the ideal companion for hikes where low weight is essential. The rainfly is made from new, high-performance TripleRip nylon. An innovative construction using two different fabric weights – the more heavily stressed tent floor is made from a sturdier and thicker material than the rest of the tent – ensures high durability while keeping the weight low. To prevent the inner tent from getting wet during setup, the inner and outer tents can be pitched together. The pole channels run on the outside of the tent and are color-coded to simplify setup. They are sized to allow for a second pole set to be used in critical weather conditions. Large, high-placed ventilation openings ensure excellent air circulation. Fine mesh at all openings prevents even the smallest insects from entering. The openings of the rainfly can be completely sealed against the weather. The zippers of the tent entrances can also be secured halfway to provide better ventilation in warm temperatures. An auto-stop feature prevents the wind from blowing the zipper open. The inner tent door can be closed with fine mesh and a door made from inner tent material. The vestibule offers ample space for gear, meal preparation, or a four-legged friend.
