Compact, stable tent for hikers who value a lightweight backpack. To achieve minimal weight, the tent height is slightly lower and the vestibule is intentionally kept compact. Ideal as a compact, lightweight hiking tent for the warm months of the year, it can also be used in winter, provided extreme weather conditions are avoided. The outer tent is made from Fjällräven's new high-performance TripleRip nylon. This innovative construction consists of two different fabric strengths: 20 Denier on top and 40 Denier on the more heavily used tent floor, combining high durability with the lightest possible weight. To prevent the inner tent from getting wet during setup, the inner and outer tents can be pitched together. Easy handling is ensured by two color-coded tent poles, generously sized, low-friction pole channels, and easily adjustable pole holders. In critical weather conditions, the tent can also be set up with an additional set of poles. Six Dyneema guy lines with one-handed operation and integrated reflective yarn. Excellent ventilation is provided by large, high-placed vents. For a good view and maximum air circulation, the outer tent can be rolled up at both ends in warm weather. In warm but changeable weather, the door can be half-opened and secured – an auto-stop feature prevents the wind from forcing the zipper open. Fine mesh at all openings prevents even the smallest insects from entering. A clothesline and mesh pockets in the inner tent make it easy to dry gear and keep things organized. Attachment points for hanging storage Gear Loft in the inner tent. Like all other tents from Fjällräven, the Abisko Lite 2 is made without PVC and toxic flame retardants. The impregnation is PFC-free.
