The vestibule offers plenty of space for storing gear and cooking. The side entrance optimizes the use of space. It features a clothesline in the vestibule and the inner tent, which also includes nets for storing small items. The inner and outer tents are set up simultaneously. The color-coded pole sleeves are wide enough to accommodate double poles (optional accessory) when the tent is highly exposed. Excellent air circulation is ensured by large, well-placed ventilation openings. All openings are covered with a mesh fine enough to keep out even the smallest insects that are almost invisible to the naked eye. In hot weather, the door can be left ajar: the automatic closing lock prevents it from opening further in the wind. This improves air circulation and keeps rain out of the inner tent. There are attachment points in the inner tent for the hanging gear loft (optional accessory). The outer tent is made from TripleRip, Fjällräven's new high-performance nylon. Its innovative structure combines two fabric weights: 20 Denier for the outer material and 40 Denier for the inner material, which is more prone to abrasion. Like all Fjällräven tents, the Abisko Endurance 2 is made without PVC or toxic flame-retardant materials, and the impregnation is free of fluorocarbons.
