Anatomically, the pubic symphysis (the front cartilage connection of the two pelvic halves) is typically about a quarter lower than in a male pelvis, and the angle of the pubic bones is wider. Additionally, women have greater mobility, which often causes the pelvis to tilt forward more on the saddle. This can lead to high pressure in the genital area. Thanks to the forward-positioned relief opening and the wide saddle flanks (V-shape), the resulting pressure is reliably distributed to the bony structures of the seating area.
