Anatomically, the pubic symphysis (the front cartilage connection of the two pelvic halves) is typically about a quarter lower than in a male pelvis, and the angle of the pubic bones to each other is wider. Additionally, women tend to have greater mobility, causing the pelvis to tilt forward more on the saddle. This often results in high pressure in the genital area. Thanks to the forward-positioned relief opening and the wide saddle flanks (V-shape), the resulting pressure is reliably distributed across the bony structures of the seating area.
