Product details

The Woodpecker 11.7 mm 1-SPT climbing rope from Edelrid is a premium tree climbing rope known for its exceptionally soft grip and excellent splicing properties. It has been specifically designed for use with mechanical ascenders and offers a compact and clean rope end connection. The patented SPLY splice is extremely compact, as the diameter of the rope does not significantly increase at any point, even at the splice eye. This allows for hassle-free use with the most common SRT and DRT devices, eliminating the need to thread the rope through. Additionally, the splice provides an extra level of safety, as part of the core runs through the entire eye. The SPLY is handcrafted, emphasizing the quality and durability of the product.

  • Soft grip for high comfort while climbing
  • Patented SPLY splice for easy handling
  • Compact rope end connection for common ascenders
  • Handcrafted quality for maximum safety.
