Product details
Whether conquering peaks, high-altitude traverses, or descending couloirs, the Dynastar M-Vertical 82 skis provide a balanced feel that's equally at home on ascents and descents. These skis can become your loyal companion on day trips or multi-day amateur races. Designed for advanced and intermediate skiers looking for a versatile ski touring model, the ski's construction features a hybrid core—a combination of 300g/m³ paulownia wood and low-density polyurethane on the wood sides—reducing the ski's weight by an average of 15% to 20% compared to a poplar core. Hybrid Core technology provides a lightweight construction that delivers a good snow feel when climbing and a smooth ride in a variety of downhill conditions. Additionally, fiberglass reinforcement is used; the wooden part of the hybrid core is surrounded by a fiberglass box. This strengthens the vertical section of the ski, increasing skier comfort and improving snow feel. The sandwich construction in the middle of the ski and the central sidewall under the boot provide efficiency and precision, while the 3D profile makes the ski safe and versatile on descents. The early rise tip rocker makes approaching easier and improves turning initiation and maneuverability during descent. The sintered HD base ensures perfect glide in all skiing conditions, making it easier and faster to reach the top, while the descent remains smooth. The 82mm waist width allows for proper flotation in powder snow, and the stiffness enables sliding over frozen snow. Dedicated Dynastar M-Vertical 82 skins were perfectly matched to the ski geometry, manufactured by Pomoca. (sold separately).
