With the FR 541 rim from DT Swiss, you can build your own 27.5-inch downhill wheel. The weight-optimized rim for disc brakes impresses with its exceptionally high impact resistance. The forged aluminum is particularly robust, allowing the rim holes to be used without eyelets, which contributes to weight savings. The design of the rims with hooks for wire and folding tires has been engineered to significantly reduce the risk of a puncture in the bicycle tube. If you prefer, you can easily go tubeless. With a 30 mm internal width, you can mount really wide tires, so you don't have to shy away from extreme trails.
