With the FR 541 rim from DT Swiss, you can build your own 27.5-inch downhill wheel. The weight-optimized rim for disc brakes impresses with its exceptionally high impact resistance. The forged aluminum is particularly robust, allowing the rim holes to be used without eyelets, contributing to weight savings. The shape of the rim, designed with hooks for both wire and folding tires, significantly reduces the risk of a puncture in the bike tube. If you prefer, you can easily go tubeless. With a 30 mm internal width, you can fit really wide tires, so you don’t have to shy away from extreme trails.
