The carabiners are differently colored on the wall and rope sides, ensuring that you always clip the correct side, even in the heat of climbing. Additionally, the noses are only minimally visible and feelable, preventing any accidental snagging. DMM uses 11 mm wide Dynatec-Dyneema® slings as connectors.
