Silicone is an extremely flexible material that offers high comfort in the mouth area. The purge valve at the bottom of the snorkel tube requires minimal effort to clear, as most water is directed downward. The splash guard is curved, located at the top of the snorkel, and prevents splash water from entering. A closing flap at the top of the snorkel ensures that no water gets in. In small waves or when tilting the head too much, no water will enter. Under the same conditions, you might swallow water with a classic snorkel.
