Cressi Kuwae

The new hybrid wetsuit from Cressi is inspired by the underwater caldera Kuwae, located in the Vanuatu archipelago in the South Pacific. The fluorescent color of the wetsuit's top resembles the lava from a volcanic eruption, as does the attractive explosive design. This particular color was chosen to provide maximum visibility for the swimmer in open water. Kuwae was designed using advanced 3D software for wetsuit modeling, allowing for the study of material fit and various sizes on virtual mannequins. In this way, Cressi not only adopts an innovative approach to research and development but also has a positive impact on the environment by avoiding unnecessary prototype collections. The 2.0 mm thick hyperstretch neoprene optimizes comfort, offers UV protection, and shields the swimmer from scratches while ensuring full freedom of movement. The smooth outer surface and waterproof Glide Skin XT treatment guarantee exceptional hydrodynamics. The new deep neckline has been specifically designed to eliminate any friction at the neck while ensuring a perfect seal against incoming water. On the inside of the lower zipper flap, you can personalize the wetsuit with your name and store a vehicle key in the special pocket. The YKK back zipper ensures watertightness and durability: the slider is made of corrosion-resistant metal to provide greater robustness when pulling the wetsuit open or closed.
