The Giotto can be used not only for recreational dives, but also for advanced nitrox, for divers who are appropriately trained and have taken the step towards technical diving. The electronics are embedded on a circuit board that takes up very little space. Thanks to the Dual-Mix Cressi RGBM algorithm, the software handles two different oxygen-enriched gas mixtures that can be selected during the dive. The gauge function, i.e. the use of the dive computer as a depth gauge with dive time display, is primarily of interest to technical divers for checking the dive plan and as a backup.
