The Crankbrothers Mallet Speedlace click shoe looks great both on the racetrack and in the bike park. The innovative Match system optimizes the engagement for any MTB click system, whether it's Crankbrothers or SPD. The shoe comes pre-assembled with a Match shim and Crankbrothers cleat in a neutral position, allowing it to be used immediately with Crankbrothers pedals.

Match Box
The angled Match cleat box provides easy access to the pedals from the front and back while preventing mud from entering. An extra stiff carbon fiber shaft efficiently transfers power when climbing or sprinting.

Match Compound
The medium-friction rubber compound (MC1) allows for easy entry and exit from the pedals and is durable enough to withstand wear. The radial cleat pattern around the cleat ensures a smooth release from the pedal body.

Match Outsole
The tread is designed for traction off the bike. Direction-specific angled and spaced toe and heel studs provide grip when ascending and descending steep terrain. The tapered toe area ensures stability in steep conditions.

Closure System
The Speed Lace closure system offers quick adjustment, a strap for secure hold, and a pocket for safely storing the laces.
