Based on the activated silica compound, a targeted effort was made towards a mixing technology in the performance segment. The result from the Korbach research and development department, after intensive development efforts, led to a new mixing technology with excellent grip and durability properties. The new rubber compound, aptly named "PureGrip," is positioned behind the BlackChili compound and is used in performance products within the Race and Mountainbike segments. Here, it ensures long-lasting traction and high mileage for Continental tires, which are exclusively manufactured at the production facility in Hefei.
