After opening the valve, the mattress inflates for about 10 minutes or until the desired firmness is reached. If you want even more firmness in the self-inflating air mattress, the carrying bag can be converted into a handy pump to inflate the mattress to the desired firmness. All Supercomfort air mattresses are designed to fit perfectly in all Coleman tents and Coleman camping beds.
