The insect protection from Insect Shield is permanently integrated into the fabric of the Cocoon TravelSheets, preventing direct skin contact with the active ingredient. Insect Shield is invisible, odorless, and the treated fabric feels unchanged. TravelSheets treated with Insect Shield offer effective protection against mosquitoes, ticks, ants, flies, fleas, sandflies, and "no-see-ums."

Egyptian cotton, which is in high demand worldwide, is a rare, particularly long-fiber cotton that can be spun into extremely fine yarn. The fabric woven by Cocoon is softer and much lighter than regular cotton, very durable, and dries quickly. Cocoon products made from Egyptian cotton are significantly lighter and more compact than those made from regular cotton, offering an excellent compromise between regular cotton and silk.
