Product details
Ultra-lightweight multi-purpose device for alpine climbing, rope access, rescue, and self-rescue. The Rollnlock ascender from Climbing Technology is compact and easy to handle. It can be used in three different ways: for ascent, as a pulley, or for recovery.
Advantages of the Rollnlock ascender at a glance:
- The new shape and different color coding of the side plates ensure even more intuitive use.
- Allows for ascent on a rope in accordance with standards EN 567 / EN 12841-B (ascent mode).
- Thanks to the clamping function, the device can be used as a simple rope pulley for lifting or repositioning a load in accordance with standard EN 12278 (pulley mode).
- Enables direct recovery of a load, creating mechanical advantages, and lifting or self-lifting a person, e.g., in the event of a fall into a crevasse (recovery pulley mode).
- In pulley mode, the rope can slide freely in both directions, while in recovery mode, it can slide freely in one direction and is blocked in the other.
- Switching from one mode to another is intuitive and can be done even with gloves or under adverse conditions.
- Its compact size and lightweight make it an ideal tool that should always be attached to the harness.
