The Capitan is an extremely robust helmet from Black Diamond that lives up to its namesake in Yosemite. It offers extensive protection on the sides and back, while the sleek fit ensures all-day comfort. The Capitan features a two-part ABS shell construction, has an optimized fit, and is available in two color variants. Its construction from EPP composite foam with molded EPS meets the required UIAA standards for increased lateral and rear protection. The ventilation openings of the Capitan provide ample breathability in warm temperatures, and the lightweight attachment system ensures an optimal fit. Integrated headlamp clips with an elastic holder on the back secure your headlamp during nighttime adventures.
