Black Crows Orb Freebird 90 touring ski

The Orb Freebird from Black Crows (the yellow one!) is a ski that you certainly can't go wrong with. The ski is stable, can do everything well and is not particularly aggressive. Whether short turns or long ones, whether on hard ground or in deep snow: in most cases, the skier will reach the limit before the ski does.

Black Crows from Chamonix stands for fun skis - this also applies to the rather narrow Orb Freebird. With its wide, soft shovel, it is easy to surf and floats surprisingly well in powder. However, others are better at hard turns and hard ground.

The Orb Freebird scores with very good handling characteristics in all conditions. However, at 0.9 grams per square centimetre, it is unfortunately not a flyweight.

The Orb Freebird also runs smoothly and the edge grip is good. From the point of view of the testers, a top ski for ski crossings.
