With the Ferox Freebird touring ski, Black Crows brings a freeride tourer to the snow, whose strengths lie primarily in downhill performance. With 110 millimeters underfoot and a solid weight of 3.6 kilograms per pair, this ski outshines its lightweight counterparts, especially in tougher conditions or in the chopped-up spring slush, and carves its path unwaveringly not just in champagne powder. The special H-shaped 3D construction ensures excellent power transfer, while carbon reinforcements keep torsional stiffness high and weight low. Additionally, the new Isocore, a wooden core foamed with fiberglass-reinforced PU, helps reduce the weight to a tour-friendly level. While the Ferox Freebird may not be the lightest in its class, it offers no compromises when it comes to riding enjoyment. The rocker in the tip and tail, combined with the camber profile underfoot, provides excellent maneuverability, good edge grip, and stability even at high speeds.
