Product details

The first three-arm via ferrata set is called Hydra Evo and comes from AustriAlpin. It combines the Via Ferrata Set Colt with the ferrata.bloc, providing additional safety. All three arms are connected with the woven webbing shock absorber. In easier sections, the ferrata.bloc can be stored in the pocket of the shock absorber but is always readily accessible when reaching difficult spots. When properly used, the ferrata.bloc prevents long falls to the next intermediate anchor when clipped into the steel cable. The long snapper of the Colt, operated like a pair of pliers, allows for a large distance between fingers and steel cable, preventing pinching. Additionally, the carabiners are equipped with AustriAlpin noise dampers and meet the UIAA bend test.
