The Apax Mips is an all-rounder in the off-road sector and is one of the lightest helmets in its category. For maximum comfort and safety, it features the Run System Ergo Flex in combination with Hi-EPS and Mips.
The adjustment system stands out with its delicate construction and evenly secures the helmet around the head in a 360-degree manner. A bicycle helmet cannot be adjusted more individually, smoothly, and comfortably. Another advantage for comfort is the removable padding. With it, you always have a pleasant wearing experience, no matter how hot it gets in the terrain. The low weight of the Apax Mips is achieved through Inmold manufacturing, where the outer shell is thermally bonded with the Hi-EPS. This results in a solid surface connection that is responsible for a very stable construction. The lower edge of the helmet is protected by an additional polycarbonate shell. Thanks to the Seamless Connection, it fits seamlessly to the outer shell. For maximum safety on rough trails, the back and temple areas are extended downward, providing even greater head coverage. In the event of a fall with an angled impact, Mips is designed to help reduce rotational forces acting on the head.
Large ventilation openings allow for optimal airflow, while fly screens keep insects away from the head, and the adjustable visor ensures additional protection in the field of vision.
