Why does the display show an A++ rating, but the third picture shows an E rating? I would classify this as misleading...

The information is not wrong. They are only confusing if you have not noticed the update regarding the energy efficiency label ;-)

For this appliance, the class A++ was correct according to the old specification. According to the new one, which must be used from 2021, E is apparently correct. The appliance has not become worse, but the classification and meaning of the levels have changed.
